What is SNAP Exam?

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a standardised admission test administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to its 16 component colleges’ MBA/PGDM programmes. Symbiosis International University provides MBA/PGDM programmes in a variety of mainstream and specialty specialisations. The test evaluates students’ aptitude and analytical skills and provides as a doorway to elite MBA programmes at Symbiosis universities.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2023:

To take the SNAP 2023 test, candidates must satisfy the following qualifying requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognised university or institute in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD applicants).
  • Students in their last year of high school are also able to apply, but they must submit their passing certificate by a specified time.
  • To apply for SNAP 2023, international students must first receive a certificate of equivalency from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Syllabus 2023:

The SNAP syllabus includes the following sections:

  1. General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability)
  2. Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
  3. Analytical & Logical Reasoning

2023 SNAP Exam Pattern:

The following is the SNAP exam pattern:

  • The examination lasts 60 minutes.
  • The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The exam is given in English.
  • Each incorrect response results in a -0.25 penalty.
  • There are 15 questions in the General English portion, 25 in Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and 20 in Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

SNAP Preparation 2023:

Candidates should be familiar with the test pattern and curriculum in order to prepare for SNAP 2023. Regular practise, such as answering previous year’s question papers and taking mock examinations, can assist increase speed and accuracy. Coaching is optional, and self-study with appropriate study materials can also lead to exam success.

Candidates can access their SNAP admission card via the official website by entering their SNAP ID and password. The admission card will provide vital information such as the exam date, time, and location.

SNAP Result 2023:

On the official website, the SNAP result cum scorecard will be accessible for download. Using their SNAP ID, candidates may view their SNAP scores and percentiles (sectional and total).

SNAP Selection Process:

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds following the publication of the SNAP 2023 results. The ultimate selection is based on academic achievement, SNAP scores, and GE/PI/WAT performance.
